New Material Industrial Park

New Material Industrial Park has planed an area of 1.74 km2 in the first phase. It is not only a demonstrative base for transferring new material science & technology research to production, it is also 1 of 14 leading chemical industry bases in China.

Now there are 39 enterprises with 5,000 employees working in the park, including Changsha Mining & Metallurgical Research Institute, Xiangtan Power Supply Materials, Hunan Lifa Chemicals, Xiangtan Jinke Industry, Huaying Fine Chemical, and etc. These existing enterprises have formed 4 industrial clusters: chemical & middle-medical, metallurgy chemical, organic & non-organic pigment and power supply materials.

Park Development Philosophy

> Its development philosophy is to change an old chemical industry zone into a new material research and production base through industry structure adjustment, to become a harmonious and environmentally protected industrial park through comprehensive environment treatment, to integrate those scattered industrial areas into an industrial group, to establish a continuous economic growth foundation, and to accomplish sustainable development through interaction among enterprises.

> Complete construction of 8 roads within 3 years
> Finish building sewage treatment plant within 2 years
> Introduce over 30 enterprises within 5 years
